Job description

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or a client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Additionally, you will have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm, and alternating Saturdays, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, as per business needs.

Work Location: Greenwich, CT

Benefits: Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Accurately and promptly enter patient information into data systems.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
