Job summary

Labcorp in West Valley City, Utah is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, provide courteous patient service and support processing and data entry.

This role schedules Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with quarterly incentive bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience.
• 1+ years of phlebotomist experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
