Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Berwyn, PA. The role involves blood collection, specimen preparation, data entry, and patient service in a fast-paced diagnostic setting.

You will work Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays, and may travel to additional sites as needed for coverage. A phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is preferred, with healthcare customer service experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Color blindness test may be required as a standard
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Education
