Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Phlebotomy training or completion of an external program.
• 1+ years experience in specimen collection and processing OR 1 year plus training.
• Fluent English - ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Performs blood draws by venipuncture according to standard protocol.
• Ensures proper container type, labeling, and transport of specimens.
• Releases orders in HIS and receives specimens in LIS.
• Provides customer service to laboratory customers and assists nursing staff as needed.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and supports quality assurance activities.
