Job summary

Labcorp in West Jordan, UT is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with responsibilities including venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; preferred candidates have Labcorp experience and 1+ year phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency is acceptable in lieu of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
