Labcorp in Decatur, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient records while delivering exceptional patient service in a clinic setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred phlebotomy certification, and 2+ years of phlebotomy experience. Willingness to travel to additional sites and pass a color vision test is expected.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training program preferred.
• 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Must pass color blindness screening as part of job standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a medical clinic in Decatur, TX 76234.

Work Schedule:

Wednesday - Friday 11am-8pm Saturday 8am-8pm; additional days and hours may be required

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Current or Prior Labcorp experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
