Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous communication with patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection techniques.
• Instruct patients on proper collection for urine, stool, and sputum specimens.
• Respond to STAT draws and perform point-of-care testing as needed.
• Follow laboratory procedures for patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Maintain working knowledge of laboratory computer systems and report retrieval.
