Job summary

Wabash General Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will collect venous and capillary blood specimens and urine samples, perform waived testing, and support clerical tasks in the department.

Requirements include working toward a high school diploma or equivalent, with phlebotomy licensure preferred; clinical experience is welcome but not required. Candidates may work weekends or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy licensure preferred
• Clinical experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Collect venous and capillary blood specimens from patients
• Collect urine or timed urine specimens
• DOT and NON-DOT urine drug collection
• Plate culture specimens to appropriate media
• Perform waived testing
• Office and clerical duties (answering phones, faxing reports)
