Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in London, Ohio. The position includes blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:00pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm, and a pay range of $17.75–$25.92 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or hands-on experience; preferred are 2+ years in phlebotomy and a commitment to exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
