Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Pineville team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods for all age groups, specimen handling for drug screens and tests, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of phlebotomy experience; a phlebotomy certification is preferred. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs and records.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
