Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a phlebotomist for the Rio Grande Valley, TX area. Work hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, with full-time or part-time options and benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities include providing exceptional patient care, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, collecting and preparing non-blood specimens, ensuring proper processing and labeling, and maintaining strict safety and compliance standards. Prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT).
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience.
• Excellent communication and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
