Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Ashburn, VA is seeking a phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Operations team. You will perform venipuncture for patients of all ages, collect and prepare non-blood specimens, and ensure proper labeling and test ordering.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and high-quality patient care, with a commitment to PHI confidentiality and a supportive workplace culture. FT hours are Monday–Friday with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy training or experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Certification from the ASPT is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
