Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for evening hours to support our laboratory team. You will obtain and assist in processing laboratory specimens to help deliver accurate results while maintaining patient- and team-focused service.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and phlebotomy training; prior experience is preferred but not required. On-site work with comprehensive benefits through UHS.

• Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
• At least 3 months of active phlebotomy experience preferred.

Job Overview

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
• At least 3 months of active phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• The applicant must possess current skills in the required areas so that the orientation period is not a training period, but strictly an orientation to our facility and its instrumentation, policies, and procedures.
• Recent graduates of phlebotomy certificate programs may be considered in lieu of experience.
• No license is required. Phlebotomy Certification from a phlebotomy program is preferred.
