Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring for a role at our Layton, Utah site where you will support the blood collection process and engage with donors in a welcoming environment. Qualifications

• Associates degree OR a combination of education and work experience is required.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in public setting is required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are required.

Responsibilities

• Take the time to personally connect with donors – listen to their stories and help them understand how impactful their donation is.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment so donors feel comfortable coming back.
• Be detailed oriented to ensure the blood collected meets goals, regulatory requirements and can be transfused.
