We are currently seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to work at Ascension St Thomas Medical Partners in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Opportunities for continuous growth within the organization will be provided.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift; Monday - Friday, 7:15 am - 5:45 pm, with one weekday off. Hours and location may vary based on business needs and supervisor requests.

Work Location: Nashville, TN

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
3. Accurately and promptly enter patient data.
4. Process billing information and collect payments when required.
5. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
6. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
7. Provide superior customer service to all patients.
8. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
9. Travel to additional sites as needed.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
2. Preferred: One year or more of phlebotomy experience.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
5. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently or in a team.
8. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
9. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
10. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
