Job summary

Northwest Cancer Centers in Northwest Indiana is seeking an entry-level phlebotomist to collect specimens and support patient flow under direct supervision, while assisting with inventory and supplies management.

You will perform waived testing under CLIA, maintain logs and paperwork, process orders and reports, properly identify and label samples, and ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment compliant with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Licensure from an accredited school of phlebotomy recommended.
• Entry level; 0–3 years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens as ordered.
• Maintains documentation and logs per QA program.
• Sends specimens to reference laboratories as needed.
• Processes lab orders and reports.
• Maintains equipment and work area.
• Handles hazardous materials per OSHA and universal precautions.
