Shift: 1st
Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non-technical, and clerical functions. Other duties as assigned.
Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program including clinicals with a minimum of 100 draws OR 6 months of related healthcare experience including direct patient contact. Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory or phlebotomy setting, inpatient and/or outpatient draws, is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
ASCP certification is preferred.
Ability to read and write to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs, and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic skills for counting instruments and completing count sheets are necessary. Good communication skills, basic computer skills, and problem-solving abilities are required.
