Are you an experienced Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant in San Diego, CA, looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? - The Medical Laboratory Assistant/Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of specimen collections on children, both inpatients & outpatients
- Microbiology specimen processing & departmental instrument maintenance.
- Under the direct supervision of an RN/licensed practitioner, the assistants (MA, PCA, & C.N.A) are responsible for providing & documenting nursing care for patients & associated tasks as delegated by the RN/licensed practitioner.
- It is the role of these assistant employees to partner with RN/licensed practitioner & other team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Monday – Friday 8am-5:30pm
- 8‑12+ Week Contract

- 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist working with pediatrics newborn to adults patients -California Licensure Phlebotomy Technician
- 6 months of experience as an MA (MA Diploma) or California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with at least 6 months of experience
- Experience with data entry and clinical computer systems
- Preferred bi-lingual English/Spanish
