Job Summary

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all functions within the laboratory phlebotomy section, including training, staffing, maintaining supplies, and communicating with laboratory administration. Performs venipunctures, heel sticks, and finger sticks to obtain blood samples for testing. Evaluates employees using laboratory and hospital guidelines to perform competency assessments. Encourages staff's professional growth and development. Coordinates on-site training of Phlebotomy students and new hires. Performs other related functions as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor or Director.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications
