HJ Staffing is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician / Qualified Phlebotomist to support the Laboratory Department at Austin State Hospital in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, lab support, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

This is a full-time contracted role with a 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule and required training days. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of phlebotomy experience, active certifications, and the ability to work compassionately within a mental health care

Formación

• 1 year phlebotomy/blood-drawing experience preferred.
• Active state/national phlebotomy or lab tech certifications required.
• Strong communication skills and reliability in a mental health care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Perform phlebotomy and standard lab technician duties per Texas regulations.
• Work compassionately with individuals with mental illness and related special needs.
• Adhere to HHSC, Austin State Hospital, and HJ Staffing policies; maintain documentation and reporting.
