Job Title: Phlebotomist

CDR Health Care Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in the Jacksonville, FL area. The role involves drawing blood from patients, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining sanitary work environments to prevent infection.

Essential Functions:

1. Prepare patients for blood draws
2. Explain procedures and answer patient questions
3. Verify patient information and label samples accurately
4. Maintain sanitary work areas following health protocols
5. Gather testing materials such as needles and vials
6. Update patient information in the database
7. Assist nervous patients to stay calm
8. Follow physicians' instructions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Phlebotomy Certification
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to work under pressure
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and testing procedures
• Full immunization record (Covid vaccine not required)
• Bilingual skills are highly preferred

Schedule:

• Start: June/July
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (schedule may change)
