Requirements:

• Six months of Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.

• If interested in 1st shift, must be able to work as early as 4 am.

• Most of our positions are four-hour shifts, so must be willing to work four-hour shifts M-F and every third weekend.

• Availability to train 1st shift M-F, full-time hours for 2 weeks.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

• 50% of the work involves computer tasks such as orders, registration, data entry, etc.

• Ability to type 40 words per minute.

• ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (must obtain certification within one year of hire) preferred.

Phlebotomist/Registration: Working in a designated area, provides specimen collection, registration, and processing services to patients in the main hospital, outpatient lab draw stations, and off-site locations. High volume work, with 50% of duties involving computer utilization to meet targets. Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.

Main Hospital Inpatient Phlebotomist

Servicing inpatients at the main hospital, processing and registering samples received from physician offices for testing.
