Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Norristown, PA. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, and input data accurately.

You will also process billing information and prepare specimens for testing, delivering reliable service to patients. We value strong communication, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
