Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Float in Freehold, NJ. This role covers multiple locations, draws blood, and prepares specimens for testing while maintaining high standards of patient-facing care.

The ideal candidate has extensive phlebotomy experience, strong customer service, and the ability to coach on-site staff. The position is a 3-month contract with potential extension, first shift (Eastern).

Qualifications

• Five years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Lead on-site staff and provide onboarding and coaching for new employees.
• Coordinate daily activities across patient service centers, mobile, long-term care, and in-office phlebotomy teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Lab Testing Services, IT connectivity, Billing and Logistics to support complex orders.
