Job Duties
  • Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
  • Administer oral solutions following training.
  • Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools.
  • Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
  • Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments as required, following policies.
  • Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
  • Perform non-patient-facing duties such as inventory management, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and emailing.
  • Follow departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data.
  • Maintain phlebotomy logs, including maintenance and temperature logs.
  • Complete training courses timely, online and in person.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training preferred: medical assistant or paramedic.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
Work Experience
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience preferred.
