Job description

Phlebotomist III Float - Bellaire, TX - Monday to Friday (Rotational Weekends) - 7:00AM-6:00PM

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required. Exemptions for medical and religious reasons will be considered upon conditional employment offer.

Compensation

Pay Range: $19.50+ per hour

Salary offers depend on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, market, and organizational factors. Successful candidates may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses.

Job Responsibilities
  • Cover assigned territory within Patient Service Centers, doctors' offices, or as needed
  • Draw and prepare blood samples for lab testing
  • Collect specimens following established protocols, including drug screens and insurance exams
  • Manage billing information and payments when required
  • Mentor and support new staff; serve as a point of contact on-site
  • Travel to additional sites as necessary
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical training preferred (medical assistant, paramedic)
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA
  • At least five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Preferably 3+ years in a Patient Service Center
  • Customer service experience in retail/service settings
  • Keyboard/data entry skills

Language requirement: Must communicate effectively in English.
