As a Phlebotomist III, you will perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups. Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Enter patient information accurately and timely.
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in phlebotomy.
- Ability to draw blood using straight needles on patients of all ages.
- Phlebotomy certification.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hard sticks and needles, urine, and thyroid testing.
- Leadership qualities.
- Detail-oriented with good experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills and data entry.
Work Environment
The position is based at a large location in Cartersville, GA, operating Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The role involves performing 20-50 draws per day on patients of all ages, working collaboratively with a team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
