Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Issaquah, WA seeks a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM–4:30 PM) with rotational weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required. Proof of COVID vaccination may be required. The role involves specimen collection, data entry, and processing duties in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will verify orders, manage billing information where needed, and maintain logs while supporting inventory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric/geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation where applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, WA, and NV.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders by using lab systems and Client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze and prepare specimens for transport.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with inventory and sanitizing.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics submission and training completions.
