1200 MH-Memphis Hospitals is seeking a Phlebotomist II to train and perform venous and micro blood draws for in-patients and out-patients, transport specimens to the lab, and support standard venipuncture procedures. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient care, and teamwork in a high-volume hospital setting.

You will train new hires and students, manage supplies and equipment carefully, and coordinate communications within the lab.

Competenze

Required - High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred - Technical Degree or Diploma
Phlebotomy 0-1 years
Healthcare environment experience preferred
Proficient in basic office equipment and data entry

Trains new hires, students and other associates on all the collection procedures.
Demonstrates accuracy and precision in performing procedures.
Performs, within acceptable limits, the standard venipuncture procedures in the laboratory.
Demonstrates conscientiousness about materials and care of equipment.
Maintains organization, accuracy, and precision in stressful circumstances.
Ensures that patient care or department related communications are coordinated among all lab associates.
Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.
