The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a PRN phlebotomist to collect venous and capillary specimens in multiple settings. You will perform bedside testing, LIS tasks, and provide instruction to students and staff, with duties assigned by the Manager.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of phlebotomy experience, plus an Accredited Phlebotomy Certificate. This is a hospital-based, part-time role with various shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience is required.
  • Completed Accredited Phlebotomy Certificate Course is required.

Responsabilités

  • Collect venous and capillary specimens per SOPs using aseptic technique.
  • Perform bedside testing and LIS-related tasks.
  • Provide instruction to students or personnel.
  • Perform additional laboratory duties as requested by the Manager.
