Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Olathe, KS is hiring a Phlebotomist II. Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with rotational Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role includes collecting specimens, performing drug screens, and assisting with billing and clerical duties.

Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience is required along with strong data entry skills. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred, with some certifications favored.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact; enter data accurately.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data correctly to support operations.
• Obtain IDs and enter billing information; collect payments per policy.
