Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required (including pediatric, geriatric, capillary collections).
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule with weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Navigate systems, confirm and verify orders; enter data accurately.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, phones and emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training/compliance records.
