Job summary

SCR St. Claire Medical Center, Inc. in Morehead, Kentucky is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist to draw blood, labeled specimens accurately, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

You will verify patient identity, document collections in the laboratory information system, deliver specimens to the proper department, and participate in mandatory trainings in a regulated hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in laboratory or related area; paid experience only.
• Phlebotomist certified and current.

Maintains patient safety and comfort during procedures. Coordinates with medical staff to support diagnostic and treatment processes. Adheres to established protocols and quality standards.

1-2 years of experience in laboratory, or a relevant area An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
