Phlebotomist II (Part-Time) - Richardson, TX - Monday to Friday (Rotational Weekends) - 07:15am-12:30pm

Pay Range: $18.50+ per hour

Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab technology systems.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and emailing.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Compile and submit statistics and data as needed.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs timely and accurately.
• Complete training courses online and in person promptly.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (preferred): medical assistant or paramedic.
• Phlebotomy certification (preferred), required in CA, NV, WA.

The ability to communicate effectively in English is required.
