Job Duties
  1. Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams
  2. Administer oral solutions as trained
  3. Research test/client information, verify orders using lab systems, contact clients, and utilize approved tools
  4. Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data
  5. Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments following policies
  6. Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep
  7. Perform non-patient duties: inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, email
  8. Follow departmental policies and procedures
  9. Assist with statistics and data submission
  10. Maintain phlebotomy logs and other logs as required
  11. Complete training courses timely
  12. Travel to other sites as needed
Minimum Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic)
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA
Work Experience
  • 1-3 years phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Keyboard/data entry experience
