Qualifications

Job Duties
  • Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
  • Administer oral solutions as per training.
  • Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab systems and client contact.
  • Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
  • Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments following policies.
  • Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
  • Perform non-patient-facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emailing.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist with statistics and data submission.
  • Maintain phlebotomy logs, such as maintenance and temperature logs.
  • Complete training courses on time.
  • Travel to other sites as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
