Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in North Andover, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist II Float to draw blood samples across patient service centers and doctors’ offices. You will cover multiple sites, ensure high‑quality specimens, accurate billing, and mentor new staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma, medical training preferred, phlebotomy certification preferred; three years phlebotomy experience with pediatric/geriatric collections; strong English communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV and WA.

Responsibilities

• Cover assigned territory in patient service center or doctor’s office.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Collect specimens for procedures such as drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
• Coach, mentor, instruct and serve as resource advisor for new staff; act as point of contact to on-site personnel and provide input to group lead or supervisor.
• Travel to additional doctor’s offices or patient service center sites as needed.
