Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions in Eureka, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform related duties on a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends rotated. Three years of phlebotomy experience and data-entry skills are required.

Position requires a HS diploma; phlebotomy certification is preferred, with CA/NV/WA certification requirements noted. English communication is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard and data-entry experience.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens with labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related records.
• Complete online and in-person training.
