Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Phlebotomist II
Position Highlights:
  • Position: Phlebotomist II
  • Location: 1200 W Algonquin Rd. Palatine, IL.
  • Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours/wk.
  • Hours: Monday-Friday (8am - 5pm), rotating weekends (8am - 12pm)
What you will do:

Reporting to the ICC Lab Manager, the ICC Lab Specialist performs a variety of pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical functions in the laboratory. This includes providing customer service support such as outpatient registration, order entry, completion of medical necessity at the point of service, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point of care testing (POCT).

What you will need:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Some college-level courses preferred.
  • Certification: Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience with all age groups required or certification from an approved school of phlebotomy.
  • Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in direct customer service preferred.
