Pay starts at $21.50 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus based on performance. Requirements include three years phlebotomy experience, data entry ability, and a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred in some states.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments as required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training.
