Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Gallup, NM is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team on a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. The role includes collecting specimens, performing basic processing, and ensuring accurate data entry. Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with eligibility for performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available on weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain, enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties including inventory and sanitizing.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
