Schedule: Every other weekend/holiday

Overview:

The Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) is part of the provider care team, supporting reports, data, and scheduling functions of the laboratory. This role ensures accurate, timely, and effective laboratory support. The LST II must exhibit excellent customer service skills aligned with the Mercy Signature Service Standards. Responsibilities include skillful specimen collection using safe, professional methodologies, observing HIPAA confidentiality, and adhering to lab policies. All duties should reflect our mission, values, and service standards.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience, or successful completion of a clinical training program.
