Overview

Phlebotomist II Float (Part-Time) - Irwin, PA - Monday to Friday (Rotational Weekends) - 6:00AM-6:00PM

Pay Range: Minimum of $19.72+ per hour

Salary offers depend on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and organizational factors. Successful candidates may also qualify for annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Cover assigned territories within Patient Service Centers, doctor’s offices, or as needed
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for testing
• Collect specimens following established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required
• Mentor and support new employees; serve as a point of contact and provide feedback to supervisors
• Travel to additional sites as necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic)
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington

Work Experience:

• At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Preferably 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment
• Customer service experience in retail or service sectors preferred
• Keyboard/data entry skills

Language: Must communicate effectively in English.
