Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Required)
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Assigned territory to cover phlebotomist duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor's office, or as needed.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Collect specimens per procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
• Coach, mentor, and be a resource advisor for new employees; act as on-site staff contact.
• Travel to additional doctor’s offices or Patient Service Centers when needed.
