Job description

Phlebotomist II Float - Pittsburgh, PA - Monday to Friday available between 4:00AM-6:00PM (Rotational Weekends)

Pay Range: Minimum of $19.72+ per hour. Salary offers depend on skills, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Job Duties:

1. Cover assigned territory within Patient Service Centers, doctor’s offices, or as needed
2. Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for testing
3. Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams
4. Enter billing info and collect payments when required
5. Coach, mentor, and support new employees; serve as a point of contact on-site; provide feedback to supervisors
6. Travel to additional sites as needed

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic)
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA

Work Experience:

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Experience in a Patient Service Center preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Keyboard/data entry skills

Effective communication in English required.
