Phlebotomist II Float – Las Vegas, NV
Position: Thursday to Monday, 11:30 PM to 08:00 AM. The role requires a state phlebotomy license (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV).

Pay: $26.05+ per hour. Employees may be eligible for a 10% shift differential for some or all hours worked on the second shift and a 15% shift differential for some or all hours worked on the third shift. Additional details on shift differentials will be provided upon offer. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and any applicable certifications. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
- Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate.
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing.
- Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
- Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
- Coach, mentor, instruct, and act as a resource advisor for new employees; serve as point of contact to staff on site and provide input to the group lead or supervisor.
- Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.
Qualifications
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
- Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
- Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
