Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, billing verification, and maintaining logs. Requires at least three years phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma; some medical training and certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in certain states.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screens, exams).
• Navigate lab systems and verify orders with clients and approvals.
• Enter data accurately and obtain IDs and billing information as needed.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparing for transport.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings on time.
