Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Carlisle, PA seeks a Phlebotomist II who will collect specimens, verify orders, and prepare samples with accuracy in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, data-entry skills, and flexibility to work a Monday–Friday schedule with rotational weekends. Competitive pay starts at $22.35+ per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
