The role runs Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay range is $21.75–$24.90 per hour, with potential annual bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Three years of phlebotomy experience are required, including pediatric and geriatric collections. High school diploma or equivalent is needed; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures; including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, cleaning, filing, phones, and email.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures; maintain logs and submission of statistics as required.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
