Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomist II for Camp Hill, PA. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotational weekends, offering $22.35+ per hour and potential annual bonuses.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, processing, data entry, and adherence to policies. Qualifications include three years phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab tech systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data to be successful in this role.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, and answering phones.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
